Migration Analyst (deadline: 24 Sep 2017)

As a Migration Analyst at Seefar you will conduct research on displaced people, migration, human trafficking and modern slavery. You will design research projects, analyse data, write reports, train field staff and produce insights for projects globally. You will have deep knowledge on migration and have experience researching migration issues. You can live wherever you like, must be fluent in English and get to travel.

Program Assistant – opportunity closed (deadline: 10 Jul 2017)

This is an entry-level role to support Seefar’s Migration Program to implement projects on some of the most important issues of our times, including refugees, displaced people, human trafficking and modern slavery. This role will provide administrative support and coordination to project and program teams around the world. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, efficient and autonomous individual with the capacity to work on multiple projects at a time. You can live wherever you like and travel will be required.

Finance Assistant – opportunity closed (deadline: 06 Jul 2017)

This role will report to the Corporate Services Manager, with responsibilities that cut across the Enterprise. You will be responsible for managing the finances of the Enterprise, and will contribute to the expansion of our subsidiary office in Indonesia. Your broader responsibilities will also cover human resources management and administrative support – your work will ensure that we maximise our social impact.

You must be a dynamic person with an eye for detail who can manage your time and competing priorities effectively. You are someone who is intrinsically motivated and interested in problem solving.

The role will be based in our office in Jakarta, Indonesia, and some domestic and international travel will be required.

Safety, Security and Risk Adviser- opportunity closed (deadline: 16 Jul 2017)

A role for a mature and credible professional with a minimum three to five years experience in safety, security and risk management in the international development sector. The role will improve and systemise safety, security and risk processes while contributing to a strong internal culture on these issues. The successful candidate will maintain a rigorous process focus but will have the strategic insight to tailor systems and procedures to different organisations and environments. This position is for an initial six months and will also develop recommendations for a sustainable safety, security and risk model going forward. As a Strategic Communications Manager you will be an experienced and rounded communications generalist. You will be working on some of the most important issues of our time, including refugees, displaced people, migration, human trafficking and modern slavery. This role works on various communication projects, both leading and providing expert input into behaviour change campaigns, online engagement strategies, creative products, PR and media strategies, copywriting and branding efforts across a number of countries. Your attention to detail, creative talent and ability to deliver will be highly valued. You can live wherever you like and travel will be required.

Monitoring & Evaluation Technical Specialist – opportunity closed (deadline: 30 Jun 2017)

Our team is looking for an M&E technical specialist with at least five years experience to evaluate our strategic communications work on modern slavery, human trafficking, migration and CVE around the world. These evaluations will be conducted using Seefar’s model of evaluation for strategic communications, which demonstrates direct impact on target audiences. This is a consultant role with an expectation of multiple assignments throughout the year. Exceptional English writing skills are required in addition to strong technical M&E and analysis skills. You can be based anywhere in the world and travel to project sites is not required.
