This position is paid a monthly retainer + commission on sales. The monthly retainer is between and USD400 and 500 depending on the preferred candidate’s experience level. You must be based in Dubai, UAE.

Job Description

TERA is looking for an enthusiastic Regional Sales Executive in the UAE to help grow our business. This role will have end-to-end responsibility for business development, from developing new accounts and researching client needs to strengthening relationships with existing clients.

This is a consultancy position for six months, renewable subject to performance.

LEAD: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

About 90% of time and effort: 

  • Achieve profitable sales growth and goals within the UAE and GCC;
  • Develop new accounts with migrant worker employers: 
    • Prospect and cold call on potential clients within assigned territory
    • Research customer business needs and market TERA’s services to meet those needs;
    • Visit offices of clients and prospective clients for meetings, presentations, and corporate events, and conduct remote outreach where in-person meetings are not possible.
    • Develop marketing materials, brochures, proposals, etc. to secure new client business.
  • Further develop existing accounts:
    • Build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in the TERA recruitment team;
    • Prepare and conduct business reviews with key accounts
  • Build internal sales/CRM systems to sustain business growth long-term;
  • Coordinate with TERA Managers in other regions, including India and Afghanistan:
    • Ensure smooth client handovers between clients and recruitment teams;
    • Communicate work order specifications from clients;
    • Follow up to resolve questions and guarantee customer satisfaction;
    • Attend and participate in general sales meetings held monthly
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions; prioritise business development with customers in priority industries
  • Project a positive image when representing TERA to customers;
  • Other tasks as directed and/or needed.

SUPPORT: GLOBAL OPERATIONS

About 10% of time and effort: 

  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and customer; collect balances due based of approved credit terms
  • Complying with and communicating legal and regulatory requirements in the UAE;
  • Represent and demonstrate TERA’s Principles.

  7. We partner with employers that provide decent and safe working and living conditions. TERA is committed to ensuring workers are provided with clean, secure, safe, and healthy working and living environments.
  8. We work with employers that pay fair wages regularly, directly and on time. We monitor our workers while they are abroad to ensure payments are delivered as agreed.
  9. We ensure that workers have access to remedy. TERA’s workers have access to grievance procedures without risk of reprisal, and safe return is guaranteed.

An Excellent Candidate

To excel in this role, you will have the following experience and capacities:

  • At least 5-10 years of sales and business development in the GCC; 
  • You have a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; 
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • A highly entrepreneurial skill set and very self-motivated;
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to handle a lot of relationships;
  • A good character and commitment to migrant worker welfare;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic; preference for individuals who also speak Hindi
  • You are based in Dubai, UAE
