Fully Remote
At Seefar, our fully remote, globally connected team reflects our deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, spanning 25 nationalities in 2025, with women represented at every level of the organisation. This multicultural and inclusive team fuels innovation, enriches our global perspective, and strengthens our ability to empower the communities we serve.
Our team spans multiple countries - from Afghanistan and Ethiopia to Iraq, Morocco, and beyond. This geographic reach isn't incidental: our largest teams are rooted in the communities we serve, ensuring the people designing and delivering our work understand its context first-hand.
Our workforce is balanced by design. In 2025, women made up more than half of all personnel, half the Senior Management Team, and two thirds of the Board of Directors. This is a reflection of deliberate hiring practices at every level of the organisation.
In 2025, Seefar invested heavily in equipping personnel with future-ready skills across four priority areas:
Bi-annual Summits
Twice a year, Seefar's team comes together in person for a week-long Summit, bringing together personnel from across our projects worldwide and giving colleagues who normally collaborate remotely the chance to meet face-to-face. Each day blends working sessions with team-building activities: mornings and afternoons are dedicated to strategy-building, project deep-dives, and skills sessions (covering everything from finance and compliance to AI tools, media training, and feedback culture), while field trips give the team space to see the impact of our work first-hand.

Partnership in Action
For example, as part of our February 2026 Summit in Istanbul, the Seefar team visited one of our project referral partners, RASAS, which supported 43 beneficiaries to access legal migration support and psychosocial assistance. The visit was an opportunity to see the partnership in action and ground our strategy discussions in the lived realities of communities.
Twice a year, Seefar's team comes together in person for a week-long Summit in a chosen destination - recent gatherings have taken us to Istanbul, with the next Summit planned for Kenya. The Summits bring together personnel from across our offices and projects worldwide, giving colleagues who normally collaborate remotely the chance to meet face-to-face. Each day blends working sessions with team-building activities: mornings and afternoons are dedicated to strategy-building while evenings and group activities dinners, field trips, hikes, and creative experiences.

As part of our February 2026 Summit in Istanbul, the Seefar team visited RASAS, a long-standing referral partner under our Pathways project. Through this partnership, Seefar referred 86 beneficiaries to RASAS, of whom 43 received direct services, primarily legal migration support and psychosocial assistance. The visit was an opportunity to see the partnership in action, hear directly from the RASAS team about their work supporting refugees and people on the move, and ground our strategy discussions in the lived realities of the communities we serve together.
